2025 GMC Sierra 1500 Cab Options

Choose between three different 2025 GMC Sierra 1500 cab sizes — regular, double, or crew cab. While the key differences between each cab option are the amount of space and seating they provide, which we detail in the chart below, there are a few other differences to note. These feature and design-related differences include: 

• Cargo Solutions — Crew cab models are exclusively available with an up-level rear storage package, which includes storage compartments in the right and left seatbacks, as well as a full-width storage compartment under the 60/40 folding rear bench seat. 

• Sound System — In the entry-level Pro trim, Sierra 1500 models with the regular cab are equipped with two speakers, while double and crew cabs have six speakers. Because the regular cab is limited to base-trim availability, both double and crew cab models are available with a seven-speaker Bose® sound system and the crew cab is exclusively available with a 12-speaker Bose Premium Series system with Centerpoint® surround sound.

• Front Seats — While each Sierra 1500 cab is equipped with a standard 40/20/40 split front bench seat with under-seat storage, both the double and crew cabs have the option to upgrade with front bucket seats and a center console.

• Fuel Tank — Another difference in your truck that’s influenced by the cab size is the size of the gas tank. Sierra 1500 double and crew cabs both have a 24-gallon fuel tank, while the regular cab boasts a larger 28.3-gallon fuel tank.

Interior Dimensions

Generous space is a hallmark of the GMC Sierra 1500. While each trim includes 44.5 inches of front legroom, the Sierra 1500 crew cab offers best-in-class legroom and headroom in the front row* among other full-size pickups. 2025 GMC Sierra 1500 Bed Options

Finding the right cab size is only half the equation; the 2025 GMC Sierra 1500 also offers three different bed options for you to choose from. The long bed is exclusively paired with the regular cab, while the standard bed is available with the regular, double, or crew cab, and the short bed is paired only with the crew cab.

No matter which you pick, the Sierra 1500 bed features 12 standard cargo tie-downs in its roll-formed high-strength steel pickup bed.
